Ode to Brett Farve

It's football season once again and I admit I enjoy a good game of football. I have my favorite teams and those teams I don't like. However this years games have been ruined for me by one football player in particular-Brett Farve. I cannot watch any football game without the announcers talking about Brett Farve. I can be watching the Steelers vs. the Browns and in the middle of the play the announcer suddenly will pop up with a factoid about Brett Farve who now plays for the NY Jets. I don't care about Brett Farve, I want to know about what Ben Rothelsberger is doing. If I am watching the Jets, THEN talk to me about Brett Farve, but until then, I really don't want to hear about him. The other night I lost track after the 7 times that the announcer mentioned Brett Farve during a game that didn't involve him. Now don't get me wrong, I am certain that Brett is a fantastic football player, someone worthy of all this praise, but I don't want to hear about him during other games!
